Road Closures:
- From 4pm each day the Stoborough/Wareham South Causeway (B3075) is blocked off to all motor traffic.
- Please can all pedal cyclists ensure that they dismount at the barriers on Wareham, South Street (by the Bear Hotel) and at the southern end of Wareham Bridge. This is for the safety of all people at the event.
Road Closure Firework Timings:
- The Stoborough/Wareham South Causeway (B3075) will be closed to everyone from 9:30pm - 10.30pm due to the firework displays on the Causeway.
- For safety reasons anyone wishing to walk to or from Stoborough/Wareham must time their journey to be across before this time.
- Security/WW Volunteers will be in place at both ends of the Stoborough/Wareham South Causeway (B3075) to prevent access and accidents happening to the general public/firework operatives.
- Please adhere to our procedures, they are in place for your safety.
Bus Route Changes:
- Buses are diverted around our road closures so the buses between Swanage and Poole, during this time, in Stoborough use West Lane (near the Village Hall) and run along the bypass into Wareham via West Street onto the normal route on North Street. The closest operational bus stops in Stoborough are outside Stoborough Meadow.
- Buses in Wareham going to and from Poole or Swanage can be caught from official bus-stops outside or opposite Wareham Post Office in North Street.
Disabled/Closest Parking locations:
- We advise that the public car parks in St. Johns Hill, Sainsburys car park, Howard’s and Bonnet’s Lane are still accessible.
- Those who can walk further we recommend parking in Streche Road.
