Wareham Wednesdays has been working in the background to engage with local youth organisations to support young people during our event evenings.
We are delighted to work once again with Dorset Youth Services, Purbeck Youth & Community Foundation and other local charities.
We’re Back at Wareham Wednesdays – and This Year, We’ve Got a Youth Zone!
Dorset Council’s Targeted Youth Team is proud to return to the Wareham Wednesdays community events this August—and we’re bringing something new!
Look out for our team in fluorescent yellow rucksacks and official ID badges—we’re here to support young people and help them make the most of summer.
NEW: The Youth Zone
A dedicated space for young people to:
Chill and charge
Enjoy music and activities
Connect with friendly youth workers
Relax in a safe, welcoming environment
We’re incredibly grateful to the local businesses and organisations who’ve donated prizes for our activities—your support makes a real difference.

Purbeck Youth & Community Foundation will have some of our Youth Workers from our Youth Hub join up with Dorset Council to support young people and activities at Wareham Wednesday.
We will also be using our PYCF outreach vehicle with refreshments and will be providing information about the Family Hub .
